Reviews Overview

Most Liked

Patrons often rave about the quality of the food, particularly the freshly-made chips that are a staple of any great chippy. The homemade pies, especially the steak and onion variety, receive numerous compliments for their rich flavors and flaky crusts. Friendly and helpful staff consistently enhance the dining experience, making sure that even large groups feel accommodated. The uniquely British offering of battered Mars bars adds a quirky twist that patrons continually declare as life-changing. For those seeking a quick bite in a relaxed environment, the atmosphere feels both inviting and carefree.

Most Disliked

Some visitors mention that while the quality shines, the pricing might be on the higher side for fast food; however, many agree that the quality justifies the cost. Additionally, during peak hours, the restaurant can become quite crowded, which may result in longer wait times. A few customers have expressed a desire for more options on the kids' menu. Lastly, despite its casual atmosphere, some patrons may prefer a more refined dining experience, which might not be the restaurant’s focus.

Very nice helpful people. Food was good and they managed to feed 19 of us with exactly what we wanted and labeled it all up with made it really easy for us as a big group.

Ignore the negative reviews for this place. Reasonably priced, lovely staff and well cooked food equals 1 happy customer.

Tremendous chippy. Lovely staff on a Frisay evening, not the cheapest fast food place. However, I'd rather have good quality the frozen, preformed rubbish ships. These are real 'chipped' on site spuds. Holland's pies and home made pies.
